The dark side of antimatter: The prospect of solving the two mysteries in one go is not new, but thanks to a batch of fresh models put forward in the last few months, the idea now seems "like it's not an exotic possibility", says Scott Watson of Syracuse University in New York, who helped organise a meeting at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor last month dedicated to alternative dark matter theories.
