New Scientist TV: Fluid nature: Dancing droplets that Faraday never saw

New Scientist TV: Fluid nature: Dancing droplets that Faraday never saw: By manipulating the viscosity of the liquid, the shape of the receptacle, and the speed at which it was vibrated, the team created new and surprising behaviours in the liquid (see video above).

Some of the strangest results include liquid jets and "dancing" droplets. The team believes the research could be applied to industrial processes, acoustics, and even liquid fuel rockets.
